Designed while at the Houston Zoo
An interactive sign was created for the Carnivore department at the zoo that encouraged guests to learn and explore how to differentiate the spots in three carnivores, the jaguar, the leopard and the cheetah.
Conservation Kiosk
Designed while at the Houston Zoo
The Conservation kiosk keeps guests informed on the mission/conservation message at the Houston Zoo and their involvement with local and international projects. The pieces designed for this project were: a map indicating where the conservation projects, a variety of educational posters about different species, specific conservation projects, and ideas on how to live a more sustainable life-style.
Koolookamba Signage
Designed while at the Houston Zoo
The African Forest exhibit area needed signage that encouraged guests to look for hidden drawings or carvings of the Koolookamba, a mythical chimpanzee-gorilla like animal.
Monitor Lizard Exhibit Signage
Designed while at the Houston Zoo
The Herpetology department from the Houston Zoo, wanted their monitor lizard exhibit to provide guests with information on the various species of monitor lizards. Animal identification signs, a photographic panel and a large graphic were designed to provide this information. The large monitor graphic, designed through a collaboration, compared the various sizes of the monitors and how indicated the guests how to distinguish them from each other.
Panamanian Frog Interactive Sign
Designed while at the Houston Zoo
The Conservation department needed an interactive sign that educated the guests about their ongoing conservation project in Panama. The Houston Zoo, in collaboration with Panama, is striving to save the Panamanian Frog from the chitrid fungus. Each spinner includes information and photography regarding the project and the variety of frogs that live in Panama.
Plan Your Day Kiosks

There are 3 Plan Your Day Kiosks throughout the zoo that keep our guests informed about animals and current events. These kiosks were redesigned to be consistent with the current brand of the zoo. By color-coding each section and updating the zoo maps, guests were able to find information much faster.
Red Panda Exhibit Signage

Collaborative
A collaborative interactive sign was designed for the new red panda exhibit at the Houston Zoo. This interactive sign educates guests about the red panda, their habitat, diets and reasons for being critically endangered.
Species Identification Book
Designed while at the Houston Zoo
An interactive species book was designed to help guests identify and learn about various bird species in the Tropical Bird House exhibit at the Houston Zoo. This interactive book allowed keepers to add or remove certain pages that had the current species on exhibit.
Twiga Terrace Restaurant Menu
Designed while at the Houston Zoo
These menus were designed for Sodexo, an international caterer and facilities management service company. The client wanted 3 different sized menu designs that were clean and looked like it was hand-written on a chalkboard, so the illusion was created using textures and a handwritten typeface.
