The Houston Zoo’s Conservation department partnered with a facility in panama called El Valle Amphibian Conservation Center. Research and conservation efforts that take place in this facility are helping save the Panamanian Golden frog from extinction by the chitrid fungus.

 

 

Eycandy Identity System
Eycandy a mini ipod sticker company needed an identity system that incorporated their fun and visually delicious look. The system included a standards manual, letterhead, business cards, envelope, ipod stickers, and t-shirt.

First Choice Healthcare
The brand created for First Choice Healthcare has a silhouette of a person that is holding a seed that symbolizes happiness and heath–holding the seed up high represents their highly effective results in their treatments.

 

 

Global Get Lifted
This design symbolizes the women joining hands and helping one another to get lifted—as a symbolism of the mission of Global Get Lifted. The oval shaped exterior elements represent the womb of a woman, where the woman within it also represent the birth of creativity in all forms that are Global Get Lifted, hence the “g” in the center. The typography selected is bold yet elegant—with the purpose of representing how women carry themselves with a bold elegance.

The Houston Zoo’s education department needed a Scout patch designed. The concept for this design was to symbolize how scouts learn survival skills as well as working in team. The icon of an elephant is a great example of working in teams as all females help care for their young and work together as a family.

Post-Break Jane is an online business that provides a variety of valuable information and advice for young women from the ages 18–35. The company wanted “Jane” to be represented as a symbol of a woman that anyone can identify with—a woman who sophisticated, edgy, chick, and independent. Thus, the design incorporated a stylized heart as a reference to “Jane” with a flair of sophisticated edge in the typography.

In 2010, The Houston Zoo started a conservation educational program called Toad Trackers. A brand was designed to create a visual reference that supported the goals of this one-of-a-kind interactive program: research, education, and monitoring of the wild toad population in the zoo.

The client wanted a logo that represented his body shop with a touch of racer-edge to it. The concept of a spark plug in the “i” of his name, represents how the spark plug is the passion that ignites his business and allows him to produce optimum results.

As requested by the client, YAYA YOGA LLC, was to use the yoga position that resembles the shape of a “Y” and add a personal touch with the hair style of the client. The colors selected, work in harmony to suggest a zesty and energetic look—zesty has a reference to the vibrant personality of the client, and energetic, reflects both the energy of the client and the one acquired from the practice of yoga. The shape behind the silhouette, references the sun rising from two leaf-like shapes—representing earth and the connection that yoga creates with nature, people, and it’s surroundings.
